Isn’t it Hot in Here?

As the bell rings, signaling you to move to your next class, you begin to walk out of the frozen tundra of the second floor and move into the sauna of the fourth. The heating system in the building is one of the larger complaints among students and faculty members in the building, but it might be an issue that has been avoided for a bit too long.

“The building’s heating system is something that should definitely be worked. For such a new and modern school you would think that it would have a state of the art heating system that could keep the same temperature between rooms? It can be very distracting when you’re in class, taking a test, and all you can think about is ‘why didn’t I bring that jacket?’,” said freshman Diana Estrada.

With the coming of summer, the increase in temperatures is seen with joy throughout the school building.

“I really can’t wait until summer comes. This winter has been cold and hot and then cold again. Now, we can at least open a window to get some fresh air,” said sophomore Chris Hepworth.

The building’s construction has also been criticized. Some rooms in the building are built without windows, constricting students for a entire period.

The building maintance staff has been greatly appreciated with maintaining the school building in many other ways. The question is whether we can look forward to the third consecutive year of an unfinished heating system.

The heating system, maintained by the NYCDOE Division of School Facilities, has declined to return this reporter’s calls and assorted emails to obtain an opinion from the DOE.

This is a nice weblog on tons of nice information. I've been thinking rather a lot about saunas and the advantages of using them. I have executed some research, and there are a number of great kits that can make it reasonably priced on anybody's budget. I'm going to buy one for my home. Thanks…
